Asperger Syndrome (AS) Asperger Syndrome (AS) :  also known as Asperger's, is a developmental disorder characterised by significant difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests.  As a milder autism spectrum disorder (ASD), it differs from other ASDs by relatively normal language and intelligence.[10] Although not required for diagnosis, physical clumsiness and unusual use of language are common.  Signs usually begin before two years of age and typically last for a person's entire life.
Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) : Autism spectrum, also known as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is a range of mental disorders of the neurodevelopmental type. It includes autismand Asperger syndrome. Individuals on the autistic spectrum often experience difficulties with social communication and interaction and restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities. Symptoms are typically recognized between one and two years of age.  Long-term problems may include difficulties in performing daily tasks, creating and keeping relationships, and maintaining a job.
Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) : is a mental disorder of the neurodevelopmental type. It is characterized by difficulty paying attentionexcessive activity and acting without regards to consequences, which are otherwise not appropriate for a person's age. Individuals with ADHD can also display problems with regulating emotions. The symptoms appear before a person is twelve years old, are present for more than six months, and cause problems in at least two settings (such as school, home, or recreational activities). In children, problems paying attention may result in poor school performance. Additionally there is an association with other mental disorders and substance misuse. Although it causes impairment, particularly in modern society, many people with ADHD can have sustained attention for tasks they find interesting or rewarding (known as hyperfocus).
Down's Syndrome (DS) Down's Syndrome (DS or DNS) : also known as trisomy 21, is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21. It is usually associated with physical growth delays, mild to moderate intellectual disability, and characteristic facial features.  The average IQ of a young adult with Down syndrome is 50, equivalent to the mental ability of an 8- or 9-year-old child, but this can vary widely.

The parents of the affected individual are usually genetically normal. The probability increases from less than 0.1% in 20-year-old mothers to 3% in those of age 45. The extra chromosome is believed to occur by chance, with no known behavioral activity or environmental factor that changes the probability.  Down syndrome can be identified during pregnancy by prenatal screening followed by diagnostic testing or after birth by direct observation and genetic testing. Since the introduction of screening, pregnancies with the diagnosis are often terminated.  Regular screening for health problems common in Down syndrome is recommended throughout the person's life.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) : is a mental disorder that can develop after a person is exposed to a traumatic event, such as sexual assaultwarfaretraffic collisionschild abuse, or other threats on a person's life. Symptoms may include disturbing thoughtsfeelings, or dreamsrelated to the events, mental or physical distress to trauma-related cues, attempts to avoid trauma-related cues, alterations in how a person thinks and feels, and an increase in the fight-or-flight response. These symptoms last for more than a month after the event. Young children are less likely to show distress, but instead may express their memories through play. A person with PTSD is at a higher risk for suicide and intentional self-harm
Trisomy Trisomy : is a type of polysomy in which there are three instances of a particular chromosome, instead of the normal two. A trisomy is a type of aneuploidy (an abnormal number of chromosomes).
